Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Engineering College (Autonomous), founded in 2001 at Perambalur, Tamil Nadu, has now reached a remarkable milestone of 25 years in delivering quality Engineering Education. The Institution has been conferred Autonomous status by UGC and Anna University for a period of ten years and is accredited with an 'A' Grade by NAAC. The departments of AERO, BME, CSE, ECE, EEE, IT, and MECH are accredited by NBA. The Institution is governed by the Silver Jubilee celebrated Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Charitable and Educational Trust, Perambalur. Our college has earned a 3-star rating from the Institution Innovation Council, recognizing our commitment to innovation and entrepreneurial initiatives.
Our pioneering Educational Trust founded the college with the vision of providing quality Engineering and Technical education to students from rural and backward districts of Tamil Nadu. The Institution currently offers 11 Undergraduate and 6 Postgraduate programmes. Both faculty and students are continually engaged in adopting emerging technologies in their respective domains, supported by active Professional Society chapters and vibrant Club activities. The college also promotes social responsibility through NSS, Fine Arts Association, Student Support Systems, and Rainwater Harvesting initiatives. The Human Resource Development Centre plays a significant role in achieving strong placement outcomes for all departments.
With the attainment of Autonomous status, the Institution has introduced Skill-Based Modules to enhance students' practical competencies. The lush green campus is equipped with advanced laboratories, smart classrooms, separate hostels for boys and girls with multi-cuisine dining, 24×7 Wi-Fi connectivity, and a fully air-conditioned central auditorium with a seating capacity of 2500.
