Internal Complaint Cell

Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) guidelines, rooted in the POSH Act (Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace Act), mandate a committee structure including a Presiding Officer (women), senior women employees, and an external member to address sexual harassment complaints. Key guidelines include conducting fair investigations within 90 days using natural justice principles, maintaining confidentiality, providing safety measures for the complainant, organizing awareness programs among students and Faculty's. The goal is to ensure a dignified and harassment-free work environment for all, with penalties for non-compliance.

Responsibilities
  • To provide a safe working environment.
  • Organize workshops and awareness programmes at regular intervals for sensitizing employees on the issues and implications of workplace sexual harassment.
  • Organize orientation programmes for members of the internal complaints committee.
  • To treat sexual harassment as a misconduct under the service rules and initiate action for misconduct.
  • Display Guidelines to create awareness about the rights of female employees.
Student / Faculty Internal Complaint

The Internal Complaint Committee ensures a safe and dignified work environment for all. Complaints are investigated confidentially and impartially within 90 days as per the POSH Act guidelines. All members are committed to maintaining a harassment-free campus.
