Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Engineering College organized the HR Conclave 2017 on December 22 at DSEC auditorium. The event brought together eminent professionals from the industry on a common stage where they shared their knowledge and experience pertaining to the “Recruitment Trends and Skilling Students” for getting Placements in various companies.

The conclave, which has seen over 650 participants, provided a platform for Prefinal Engineering students to interact with HR’s. The Dean Mrs. Premalatha welcomed the gathering and The Principal Dr.S.Durairaj (Boyscast fellow) felicitated the function.

The event was inaugurated by the chief guest Mr.RajasekharSelvanayagam,Vertical HR Leader,Renault Nissan Technology & Business Centre India,Chennai. In his keynote address he highlighted that future is in your hands and you have to define your future path by a small story.

The speakers express their views based on their rich industry experience. The discussion mainly highlighted the need for sharpening the employability skills and also the methods to be incorporated for the same. The major concern was on “what are the expectations of industry from the freshers” and the role of the students in choosing the appropriate sector according to their skill sets and interest.

The students had an intense discussion about the recent technologies in the industry and on all the major trends of the recruitment process.
