Cyber Security

The Department of Cyber Security, established in 2023, aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to protect digital systems, networks and data from cyber threats. The department offers both theoretical and practical learning in areas such as ethical hacking, network security, cryptography, and digital forensics. With experienced faculty, modern labs, and regular workshops, students gain hands-on experience and stay updated with the latest trends in Cyber Security. The department is to equip students with technical, professional and ethical skills to confront cyber-threats and work in a rapidly evolving field.

To develop ethically responsible and innovative cyber security professionals through excellence in education, training, and research, contributing to a secure digital society.

Graduates of the Cyber Security program will be able to:

  • PSO2: Threat Analysis and Incident Response Analyze, detect, and respond to cyber attacks and security incidents using appropriate forensic tools, penetration testing methodologies, and threat intelligence techniques.
